Good Shepherd is THRILLED to have an additional participant in the BAA Marathon weekend festivities. My 10 year old daughter, Adriana, has been invited to run the BAA 5K in partnership with the nationwide initiative Girls on the Run.
Adriana was named after her Uncle Adrian who died when she was in utero and has always deeply identified with the experience of grief. During her short lifetime, she has witnessed the deaths of a great-grandmother, another beloved "Uncle Harry" and her dog "Alfie". Adriana will run in support of our HEARTplay programs in the spirit of KIDS supporting KIDS. Please consider supporting her with a gift of $5 for her 5K run!
